Hyderabad: Seeking a hike in monthly payment to hired cars, Telangana Four Wheeler Driver’s Association (TFWDA) state president Shaik Salauddin along with general secretary Kune Prakash submitted a memorandum to Joint commissioner for Rural Development Wesley here on Wednesday.
Later, Salauddin said that as per the old circular for hired cars Rs 24,000 was to be paid on monthly basis. “Now we are demanding for a hike in the payment; we want Rs 33,000 payment per month,” he said.
Salauddin said that the JC assured to bring the issue to the notice of Neetu Raj, commissioner, Rural Development and Panchayatraj. The Association president also demanded action against officials who were running the hired cars on benami names.
