Tandur: Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy participated in the Iftar party hosted by the State government here on Friday. He said the State government spent Rs 17 lakh for distributing new clothes among the Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan to benefit 10,000.
The government sanctioned Rs 5 lakh for hosting the Iftar party in Tandur. In the Assembly constituency, new clothes would be given to 5,000 Muslims. Municipal councilor Jubair Lala, MIM leader MA Hadi, TRS leader Rawoof and others took part in the Iftar party.
