Rajendranagar: Setting an example of how strong a bond between different communities can be formed, a mosque in Aramghar Road in Shivarampally in Rajendranagar was the venue of Eid Milaap where scores of people attended.

Masjid Noor Mohammed Shareef in Aramghar was fully occupied with locals from both religions who were invited for the programme. The non-Muslims who attended the programme were informed about Islam and the organisers tried to alleviate misconceptions. Some of those who entered the mosque for the first time in their lives were explained about the importance of mosque and the way prayers were performed.

In the interactive session, several doubts raised by the non-Muslims were also cleared by the organisers. “We tried to clear all the doubts in their minds about Islam and Muslims so that misconceptions being created by stereotypes can be cleared,” said Khaja Ali Babar, president of Mosque committee and organiser of the programme.
