Digging pits for Haritha Haram begins
Even as the monsoon is about to set in, the Zaheerabad MPDO has initiated the work of digging up pits to plant the saplings under National Rural Employment Guarantee Act. Zaheerabad MPDO Ramulu has inspected the pits and made suggestions to the labourers. Speaking to media, Ramulu said that the required samplings are made available at nurseries.

The digging works have begun in full swing on the directions of the Telangana government. Officials said that saplings including fruit bearing trees would be planted. Officials urged the workers to work with dedication as they would be benefited as the place would become green and also there would be far reaching benefits for the whole ecosystem. The workers were sensitised on the benefits of greenery and that they would be paid for doing a noble cause.
