Governor ESL Narasimhan, will be the chief guest for the Convocation Ceremony at Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on Jun 28. The Ceremony will be attended by a host of senior civil and military dignitaries and an august gathering of more than 400 service personnel and their families.

Secunderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan, will be the chief guest for the Convocation Ceremony at Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on Jun 28. The Ceremony will be attended by a host of senior civil and military dignitaries and an august gathering of more than 400 service personnel and their families.

Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, Commandant, MCEME, remarked “It is indeed a matter of great honour and privilege for us that Governor ESL Narasimhan has agreed to be the chief guest and deliver convocation address”. As many as 20 Officers of Technical Entry Scheme (TES-29) will be graduating as engineers from the portals of MCEME. They will be vying for a number of awards which include the General officer commanding in Chief, Army Training Command Trophy, Director General of EME Gold Medal and Commandant’s Silver Medals. The innovative projects undertaken by the student officers will also be displayed to Honorable Governor.

Major General TSA Narayanan, Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor of the College, who supervised the entire training of the course, said “Presence of His Excellency Shri ESL Narasimhan, Honourable Governor of Andhra Pradesh &Telangana state is an inspiration for student officers of this college”. MCEME trains technical human capital for providing combat engineering support to the complete equipment of the Indian Army.

The engineers produced jointly by the JNU and MCEME meet this vital need of the Indian Army. Fulfilling this mandate for over six decades the college has evolved into a world class training institution. The training standards of the college have been recognized and college has been awarded the Golden Peacock National Award for Training, Quality ISO-9001 certification five times and Prime Ministers Awards for Students Projects.
