Demand for facilities at Hyd House, Telangana Bhavan
Members of city Bonalu Committee demanded the government to provide facilities and accommodation in Hyderabad House and Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to carry out Bonalu celebrations there in the month of July.
Hyderabad: Members of city Bonalu Committee demanded the government to provide facilities and accommodation in Hyderabad House and Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to carry out Bonalu celebrations there in the month of July.
In a letter addressing the special representative for Telangana State S Venugopal Chary, it was demanded to provide flower decoration in main hall and around Telangana Bhavan on July 16, 17, 18. Other demands include provision of sound system, auditorium on July 18, accommodation for 120 temple committee members in Telangana Bhavan, accommodation for 120 artists in quarters of bhavan from July 16 to 19 besides providing food facilities.
The Bonala Jatara in New Delhi has been organized for past three years by the Telangana Department of Language and Culture (TDLC) along with temple committee members. The program in national capital includes photo exhibition, press conference, procession from Gate of India towards Ghata Sthapna, Bonalu celebrations and cultural programs at auditorium. The representation was given to the dignitary and demanded that facilities are provided to the committee members and others.
