Chitimalla Chandan, son of Dr C Ramakrishna, senior scientist at ICAR - National Research Centre on Meat in Chengicherla, Hyderabad and C Swarnalatha recently completed all 14 papers of the ACCA qualification and became ‘ACCA Affiliate – Topper’ in India (out of 18 affiliates) with a worldwide rank of 16th (out of 1,115 affiliates) in the March 2018 session.

Hyderabad: Chitimalla Chandan, son of Dr C Ramakrishna, senior scientist at ICAR - National Research Centre on Meat in Chengicherla, Hyderabad and C Swarnalatha recently completed all 14 papers of the ACCA qualification and became ‘ACCA Affiliate – Topper’ in India (out of 18 affiliates) with a worldwide rank of 16th (out of 1,115 affiliates) in the March 2018 session.

Chandan was felicitated at Bengaluru for becoming International Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with All India 1st Rank and World 16th Rank. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global professional accounting body offering the ACCA. It is also referred to as ‘International CA’ due to its wide recognition in over 180 countries. It enables students to get jobs in ‘Big 4’ firms and other large MNCs all over the world with sound remuneration packages.

He also topped P6 Advanced Taxation (UK) with 87 marks and P1 (Governance, Risk & Ethics) with 76 marks in India in March 2017 & March 2018 sessions respectively. Chandan has become full Member of ACCA (International Chartered Accountant) at the age of 20 years and 1 month. He is one of the youngest ACCA Members in India / World. On account of this achievement, Chandan was felicitated by ACCA India at an award ceremony held in Bengaluru on 26th June 2018.

Other achievements of Chandan include completing BSc (Hons) in First Class in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, passing IGCSE with distinction from University of Cambridge, passing Trinity Music College London's Grade 8 piano exam which is equivalent to 32 credits at Level 3 of QCF. He is now pursuing MSc. in Professional Accountancy from University of London which is expected to be completed by December 2018.
