Mehdipatnam: The second board meeting of TRICOR (Girijan Cooperative Finance Corporation) here on Thursday resolved to implement several schemes worth over Rs 40 crore for the benefit of 38,339 girijans in this financial year.
Thati Venkateshwarlu, chairman and MLA, presided over the board meeting. Tribal Welfare Commissioner Dr Christina Chongu was present. The board members after discussing several schemes decided to take up ‘arthika sahakara pathakam’, ‘giri vikasam’ (land development), entrepreneurship for youth and innovation scheme, which paves the way for taking up business activities.
