Malakpet: An awareness programme "Coffee with Cop" was organised for Muslim student girls on behalf of Hyderabad city police at Officers Mess Function Hall in Malakpet on Friday. City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar presided over the programme which was attended by Shika Goel, Addl CP crimes & SIT, M Ramesh, DCP East zone, Dr Chetana, ACP Sultan Bazar & other police officials.
Anjani Kumar interacted with Muslim student girls and gave them tips for self-defence and how to deal with situations in case of eve teasing or when they were travelling alone. The Commissioner appealed to girls to avail facilities such as "She Teams" and "Hawk Eye" which were launched by the Telangana police for the safety and security of women or girls. Also, Anjani Kumar had a coffee session and interaction with students.
