Secunderabad: ‘Oral Hygiene Day’ was celebrated at Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad on August 1. The event was organised by the Department of Periodontics and hosted by Dr Tanushree, PG.
It started with an interactive and informative lecture on the 'Applications of CBCT software and it's uses in Dentistry' by the eminent guest speaker, Dr B Shiva Shankar, Clinical Director and Associate Professor in Quassim University of Saudi Arabia. It was followed by a hands on demonstration of using the CBCT software CS 3D in planning implant surgeries followed by a series of interactive games such as dumb charades of dental terminologies in which students from the audience participated enthusiastically.
