Musheerabad: Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy on Wednesday observed that festivals stand out as symbols of religious tolerance. He conveyed Bakrid greetings to Muslims during a visit to senior TRS leader A Hussain in Veesalagadda, Ramnagar, along with GHMC standing committee member and local Corporator Srinivas Reddy. Among those present were Wahid Ali, Quadir, Roshan, Mallesh, Sirigiri Shyam, Neta Srinu.

Addressing the Muslim community members, Naini urged them to celebrate the festival in a peaceful atmosphere. He asserted that the TRS government was rendering justice to all communities in celebrating various festivals, like nowhere else in the country. The minister stated that the administration had taken measures to ensure that the Bonalu and Ramzan festivals passed off peacefully. Naini stated that the TRS government was taking all steps to ensure law and order in the State.
