The contribution of Communists in the Telangana Peasants Armed Struggle was celebrated at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Tuesday. Recognising the failure of Communist parties in creating mass people's movements, the leadership of CPI, CPI(M), CPI(ML), CPI(ML) liberation and MCPI(U) asked the cadres to take inspiration from the Telangana Peasants Armed Struggle.
Hyderabad: The contribution of Communists in the Telangana Peasants Armed Struggle was celebrated at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram on Tuesday. Recognising the failure of Communist parties in creating mass people's movements, the leadership of CPI, CPI(M), CPI(ML), CPI(ML) liberation and MCPI(U) asked the cadres to take inspiration from the Telangana Peasants Armed Struggle. CPM state secretary BV Raghavulu stressed the need for immediate reforms in distributing land to poor farmers, who were committing suicides due to lack of land to cultivate. CPI state secretary K Narayana said that the current Telangana Movement was a result of the weakness of the Left movements and the failure of the Left in standing for the people's problems as strongly as they stood during the movements of the past.
