With an aim to bring contemporary trends in the interior design industry to Telangana, the Hyderabad chapter of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IID_HRC) organised the Insider-X Design Expo on Friday at Hitex, Madhapur. The expo was inaugurated by architect Hafeez Contractor and was attended by scores of aspiring architects, interior designers and the general populace as well.

With an aim to bring contemporary trends in the interior design industry to Telangana, the Hyderabad chapter of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IID_HRC) organised the Insider-X Design Expo on Friday at Hitex, Madhapur. The expo was inaugurated by architect Hafeez Contractor and was attended by scores of aspiring architects, interior designers and the general populace as well.
The three-day expo is the city’s first interior design exhibition that has been tailor-made by a think-tank of interior designers, architects, traders and academicians of the IIID-HRC. The expo is primarily for members to interact and network with like-minded professionals from the industry.
IIID-HRC chairperson Sona Chatwani explained, “We, as design industry professionals, have positioned the expo as an exclusive event that will specifically focus on industry specifiers, decision-makers and project managers relevant to the various verticals of the industry. Being at the cusp of change in our two states, we think that we are strategically placed to invite better business prospects to our region through this medium.”
With over 150 reputed products from across the country, contemporary design solutions, talks and seminars by reputed architects along with interesting workshops, young designers’ PechaKucha there are lots of opportunity for networking at the event. The proceeds from this event will go towards various CSR activities.
Speaking about the event, exhibition convener Manoj Wahi, “If you are an architect, interior designer or design related trade professional; builder, project manager, MEP consultant, defense, government and semi-government organisation, corporate, homemaker, home-builder, architecture and interior design college related academician, scholar or student, you need to be here. This is where you get to ideate and learn something different.” The expo will be on till Sunday.
