A big Baig bash in Hyderabad
Noor Baig’s dinner in honour of her husband Mohammad Ali Baig was held at the Sailing Lounge on Friday. The dinner was held to celebrate Baig’s birthday and the honours and felicitations he had received last year. The evening began with a reading of Noor Baig’s new play ‘Spaces’.

Friends including diplomats, bureaucrats and theatre fraternity attended and felicitated Baig, the country’s youngest Padmashri awardee in theatre. Carnations, a sumptuous spread of snacks and dinner and a birthday cake made it an eclectic evening. Begum Razia Baig, Dr Ramesh Kumar, Ajay Mishra, AK Khan and others attended the dinner.
