Union ministers assure payment of debts to SCB

Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy and Secunderabad Cantonment Board CEO Sujatha Gupta submitted a memorandum to Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Tuesday requesting him to ensure that Begumpet Airport authorities pay up the debt of Rs 12 crore towards properly tax.
Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy and Secunderabad Cantonment Board CEO Sujatha Gupta submitted a memorandum to Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Tuesday requesting him to ensure that Begumpet Airport authorities pay up the debt of Rs 12 crore towards properly tax.
Responding to the letter, the minister assured the board that the dues would be paid before March 31. Meanwhile, Malla Reddy confirmed that Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has assured that the ministry would release Rs 12 crore to the SCB towards service charges. Overall the ministry owes a whopping Rs 350 crore to the SCB.
