Washington: Amid protests over his order to temporarily ban people from seven Muslim-majority countries, President Donald Trump has sacked two top officials, including acting Attorney-General Sally Yates after she refused to defend the order against court challenges.
The White House said Yates had "betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States."
