3-day DTF meeting from Dec 10

Nalgonda: Democratic Teachers Federation (DTF) is conducting its 4th state-level meeting from December 10 to 12 at Shivanjaneya function hall in Nalgonda to discuss various issues being faced by government schools.
DTF leader M Raghu Shankar Reddy, along with other members, briefed the media about the programmes to be conducted in three days, here on Thursday. About 11 main issues, including common school education policy, commercial involvement in schooling, Saffron forces impact on learning, globalisation effect on students etc would be discussed elaborately.
Noted speakers like professors Anil Sadgopal, Hara Gopal, Kodandaram, KS Chalam, Marepalli Sujatha, Varavara Rao, Veekshanam Editor Venu Gopal and the like would give key note addresses on various important topics related to the present education system.
He also informed that the organisation would conduct public meeting on December 11 at Clock Tower in Nalgonda and urged teachers and people to make the meeting a grand success. Dr Nomula Satyanarayana, DTF leaders Somaiah, Venkulu, R Vijay Kumar and others participated in the press meet.
