Bhongir: District Collector Anita Ramachandran directed officials concerned to maintain transparency while correcting the mistakes of village-wise revenue records.

On Thursday, the Collector conducted Bhongir divisional meeting with Tahsildhars and Deputy Tahsildhars at Revenue Divisional Office in Bhongir. After collecting the records of the works completed till Thursday, Ramachandran guided the officials on remaining works in the rest of the villages in the division. She advised officials to take the help of farmer coordination committees while correcting the revenue records.

She further advised them to take the programme seriously and perform the duties transparently to avoid complaints. “Issue notices to farmers and receive claims and objections from them,” she told, adding that officials concerned must stay in respective village for four days to address the land issues forever. She ordered forest officials to record the reserve forest lands in POB register.

Revenue Divisional Officer Bhoopal Reddy, DFO DV Reddy and other officials participated in the meeting.
