Kothagudem: With the introduction of mobile veterinary clinics by the State government, the shortage of veterinary doctors would be overcome, opined local legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao.

After flagging off the mobile veterinary clinic at the government veterinary hospital here on Tuesday, the MLA said that one mobile clinic for each Assembly constituency has been sanctioned to overcome the shortage of vets. Each vehicle costs about Rs 14 lakh fitted with the state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Those who want to access mobile veterinary clinic should dial 1962. The MLA called upon people to make better use of the facility.

Veterinarian Dr Venugopal Rao, MPP president Bhanoth Kesli, vice-president Malothu Eeri, Market Committee Chairman Harilal, Chunchupalli Panchayat Secretary Arun Goud, veterinary doctors Venkaiah, Swapna, Vijay and others took part in the programme.
