Kothagudem: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has thanked the Singareni workers for giving a big victory to the Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) in the elections to determine the majority union.

He congratulated Nizamabad MP and TBGKS honorary president Kalvakuntla Kavitha, who led the Sangham in the poll.

The Minister stated that it was a matter of pride that the TBGKS won for the first time nine of 11 divisions, humiliating national trade unions like AITUC and INTUC.

The TBGKS performance, Tummala asserted, showed that the SCCL workers had complete faith in Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, despite the rival trade unions joining hands and making allegations against KCR and Kavitha. The Minister recalled that the Singareni workers had backed KCR in the Telangana agitation.

He expressed confidence that all the issues of workers would be solved soon. Tummala said KCR was striving to ensure welfare of the workers and that the government was committed to their social and financial betterment.
