Congress fires salvos at KCR, kin
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy has predicted a landslide victory for Congress party in 2019 elections. Addressing a public meeting ‘Jadcherla Jana Garjana’ on Wednesday, Uttam said 2019 polls would be a fight between KCR family and people of Telangana.
Jadcherla: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy has predicted a landslide victory for Congress party in 2019 elections. Addressing a public meeting ‘Jadcherla Jana Garjana’ on Wednesday, Uttam said 2019 polls would be a fight between KCR family and people of Telangana.
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's every move was going against people, he said: “It took more than 60 years to realise separate Telangana State. But, KCR shattered the dream of Telangana in less than a term. One after the other, the TRS government has been cheating all sections of the society and was creating a wrong impression that it has been solving all problems."
Uttam further alleged that KCR government was falsely claiming to have constructed the irrigation projects in the State; while, in fact all these projects were conceptualised, designed and grounded by the Congress party.
He said while Congress party had planned to complete all the projects in Mahbubnagar district at Rs 8,000 crore, the TRS government had increased it multifold and was now spending a whooping Rs 32,000 crore on the same projects.
“The TRS government has done nothing but changed the names of the projects conceptualised and launched by the Congress party and by changing the design, the TRS party has wasted the tax payer’s money and fooled them. I am confident the people of Telangana have realised the false promises of KCR and I am sure they will give a fitting reply by ousting the TRS government in 2019 general elections,” said Uttam.
Gadwal legislator DK Aruna flayed KCR for conducting false surveys and fooling the people. She said KCR was habituated to take up false hunger strikes and false promises right from the beginning to fool people. She said it was because of Sonia Gandhi that separate state came into existence. However, KCR has taken it to his advantage and has been looting the State by distributing key ministerial posts to his family members.
Speaking on the occasion, Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy flayed Health Minister Dr Laxma Reddy and alleged that Minister was only interested in real estate deals. He further alleged that Laxma Reddy had amassed more than 300 acres surrounding outer ring road in Hyderabad and has no interest towards the people’s welfare.
He said the people will teach a befitting lesson to the draconian rule of TRS government soon.Alampur MLA Sampath Kumar and State Congress in-charge Kuntia also spoke on the occasion.
