Student critically injured in motorcycle accident
A 10th class student of a government residential school at Lakshminagaram in Venkatapuram mandal of Bhupalapalli district on Tuesday sustained serious injuries due to a fall from a motorcycle while returning to the school from Venkatapuram on a two-wheeler. Apparently, the student was sent by the school teacher to Venkatapuram to fetch some goods.
Bhadrachalam: A 10th class student of a government residential school at Lakshminagaram in Venkatapuram mandal of Bhupalapalli district on Tuesday sustained serious injuries due to a fall from a motorcycle while returning to the school from Venkatapuram on a two-wheeler. Apparently, the student was sent by the school teacher to Venkatapuram to fetch some goods.
While returning to Lakshmipuram, the student, identified as Juvva Dileep of Wajedu, sustained injuries as he lost control over the vehicle and fell down. Locals got him admitted to Government hospital at Venkatapuram. Later, he was shifted to a private hospital in Bhadrachalam.
The accident apparently took place when the teacher had sent the boy along with his motorcycle to attend to his personal work. In-charge ITDA project officer Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu ordered an enquiry into the incident.
