Khammam: The representatives of the Yuvajana Congress Committee in protesting the Central government over Punjab National Bank scam had burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Khammam on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Secretary of Yuvajana Congress Committee Pratyush alleged that Nirav Modi, who robbed the public money, had fled to foreign country like a thief and was enjoying a royal life.
“The government must recover the robbed money from Nirav Modi besides seizing his property and arresting him,” he demanded, informing that Yuvajana Congress Committee was going to take up several programmes against the Bharatiya Janata Party for adopting ‘anti-people’ policies in coming up days. He urged the representatives of the Committee to strive for strengthening the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and help Congress achieve victory in 2019 elections.
Representatives of the Committee Battula Rudra Pratap, Abdul Ashad, Chota Baba, Md Gouse, Bade Saheb, Riyab, Sai Kumar, Arif, Nihal, Nasheer, Anjani and Satish were present along with others.
