Stating that officials were success in conducting loan mela on the eve of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s birthday, Collector Surendra Mohan directed them to get ready to provide loans to all eligible under the government welfare schemes with the same spirit.

Addressing the officials concerned after receiving grievances from people at Prajavani programme on Monday, the Collector said loans worth Rs 136 crore were distributed to beneficiaries under government schemes at loan mela conducted at Suryapet on Saturday. He said the government had issued a GO to conduct similar loan melas in all districts in the State.
He instructed the lead bank manager to provide subsidy loans to interested women to encourage them to start enterprises under Standup India programme. The Collector ordered the officials concerned to speed up land survey works and expressed his concern over delay in Aadhaar registrations.
Surendra Mohan instructed the officials concerned to complete all pending works with regard to land correction by March 11 and ensure to distribute error-free digital passbooks to farmers.
Later, the Collector distributed to tricycles to beneficiaries Bukya Sakru of Chivemla mandal, Chaka Bangaramma, Kodipangi Manemma of Penpahad mandal. After coming to know about educational qualification of Manemma and reason behind her discontinuation of studies, Surendra Mohan directed the officials of Department of Disabled to provide financial assistance to Manemma for her education.
Joint Collector Sanjeeva Reddy, Assistant Collector Uday Kumar, lead bank manager Srinivas, Janahitha Project manager Andrew James, DRDA PD Kiran Kumar, SC Corporation ED Prabhakar, GM DIC Babu Rao and others attended the programme.
