Yadadri-Bhongir: Unknown offenders has stolen Rs 2 lakh worth ornaments from Abayanjaneya temple in Rajapet mandal headquarters in the district on Monday night.
According to the police, temple priest Rajeshwar Sharma went to the temple at 9 pm and found crown and ornaments missing. Shocked over the theft of ornaments, the priest informed the incident to the temple organisers.
On information, local police rushed to the spot with Clues team and collected evidence. Yadagirigutta ACP Srinivas Charyulu visited the spot. Police filed a case. Based on CCTV cameras footage, the police launched the manhunt for offenders.
