Bhadrachalam: Anti-Corruption Bureau caught two engineers of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) red-handed while they were accepting bribe from a contractor here on Monday.
According to ACB DSP Kiran Kumar, the accused - Executive Engineer Shanker and Assistant Engineer Satyanarayana - have been troubling the contractor, demanding him money to clear his bill related to double bedroom constructions.
The contractor, Srinivas Reddy, approached the ACB, who laid a trap and caught the engineers red-handed at their office at ITDA. The duo would be produced before the ACB Court in Hyderabad, the DSP added. CI Ramana Murthy, Ramalinga Reddy and Satish were present along with DSP.
