All set for grand launch of Rythu Bandhu in Khammam

The District Administration made elaborate arrangements for implementation of the ‘Rythu Bandhu Scheme’ that is introduced prestigiously by the State government from May 10th in 380 villages of Khammam. The Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao is going to launch the scheme from Arempula village of Khammam Rural mandal at 11.15 am in Khammam.

Khammam : The District Administration made elaborate arrangements for implementation of the ‘Rythu Bandhu Scheme’ that is introduced prestigiously by the State government from May 10th in 380 villages of Khammam. The Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao is going to launch the scheme from Arempula village of Khammam Rural mandal at 11.15 am in Khammam.

The Officials identified several government schools for establishing of centres for the distribution of cheques and pass books to the farmers along with making all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the programme.
Special control room is established at collectorate for clearing of doubts if any during the distribution of cheques. The officials of agriculture, revenue and police departments are going to play key role in distribution of cheques and pass books under RBS scheme along with bank officials.

Meanwhile, the officials after scrutiny had rejected nearly 2,537 cheques due to various reasons. The Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar and Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkat Veeraiah already declared that they are not going to receive the cheques under RBS Scheme. The amount paid to them under the scheme will be deposited directly in ‘Rythu Bandhu Trust’ which would be used for welfare of the farmers.

The farmers can get their amount by depositing the cheques that are received by them under RBS either in State Bank of India, Andhra Bank, AP Grameena Vikasa Bank, Cyndicate Bank or in Indian Overseas Bank.

Meanwhile, the R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao in a meeting held on Tuesday said that the unlike any other State present in the country, the TRS government is going implement the RBS scheme for the welfare of the farmers. He ordered the officials of various department concerned to organise the programme like of Festival in the district.
