Ex-MLAs support contract workers strike
Former MLAs Vanama Venkateswara Rao and Kunamneni Sambhasiva Rao on Wednesday supported the protest of municipal contract workers. The civic contract workers launched relay hunger strike in front of the municipal office here, demanding regularisation of their posts.

Speaking on the occasion, the ex-MLAs alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao failed to implement the poll promises even after coming to power.
The CM promised to make the contract workers jobs permanent as soon as he sits in the chair. But he couldn’t keep his promise even four years of coming to power, they criticised.
The people across the State were vexed with the TRS government and KCR policies and will teach a befitting lesson to TRS in the coming elections, they added.
