CPM-led BLF to launch campaign against BJP
There will be no protection for Dalits and Minorities unless the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is defeated, said State Secretary of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Convenor of the Bahujana Left Front (BLF) Tammineni Veerabhadram here on Tuesday.

Speaking at a meeting held with the BLF leaders here, Veerbhadram alleged that the the BJP was encouraging communalism and engineering attacks on Dalits and Minorities in the country.
The BJP, he said, was conspiring to enforce laws of Manu Dharma Shastra. It was trying to aggrandise its power across the country by encountering communalism and Hindutva ideology, he pointed out.
It is the prime responsibility of the leaders of the BLF to create awareness among the people belonging to Scheduled Cates, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Minorities about the cruel intention of the BJP party. He stressed the need to check the BJP.
The TRS party in the State, he said, was taking the people for a ride by making false promises. There was no transparency in the implementation of the welfare schemes, he alleged.
The BLF, he said, was going to launch a campaign against the BJP and TRS in 17 Lok Sabha cosntituencies.
The CPI-M State leaders P Sudharshan Rao, B Hymavathi, TMAS leaders Y Srikanth, B V Raghavulu, Bheemanna, A Vekateshwarlu, G Veerabhadram, Rama Rao, P Nageshwar Rao, Afzal Pasha, Yakub Pasha, and Venkataramana were present.
