khamamKhammam: District Collector Siddarth Jain has said that 'Online file management system' (or E-governance) would be introduced from April 12 in Khammam district. A training programme was held in the town on Wednesday for Revenue Inspectors (RIs), Urban Revenue Officers (UROs), Section Assistants (SAs) and section superintendents. The officials were given training about the E-governance system and Mr Siddarth Jain addressed the meeting. A number of correspondences with regard to general administration and other works from Inward Sections of Revenue Offices to Joint Collector and to the Collector would be carried out `Online' from April 12. The officials can send necessary records or documents to the higher officials through `Online'. The paper correspondence would be utilized only for important and confidential issues court orders, land related files etc. The required documents or records have to be submitted to the higher officials in such important cases, he said. The Collectorate, Revenue Divisional Offices (RDOs) and Tahsildar offices would be brought under 'Online file management system' (or E-governance). The District Revenue Officer (DRO) has to inspect various offices and instruct the officials for proper implementation of `Online' system. The statistics of various programmes would be linked to E-governance system, he added. Joint Collector Surendra Mohan, DRO TA Jayanandan and other officials were present at the programme.
