Jewellery expo begins

Vijayawada: The tradition and culture of India revolves around the holy shrines and mystic destinations. Taking a cue from that, Art Karat has launched its new collection of fashion jewellery 'Temple' here on Wednesday at Hotel Gateway. Senior Manager of Art Karat Durga Rao launched the expo. Noted jewellery designer Asha Kamal Modi designed the collection. Durga Rao said that the expo is an exclusive blend of artistic work of Indian tradition with modern trends. This collection embosses gold jewellery blended with pearls and a variety of stones, he said.He said that the designs and collection of jewellery will win the hearts of women. More than 200 varieties of necklaces, long ear hangings, bracelets and many more varieties are available with a price range of Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,50,000, he said. Miss Vizag title winner and model Jenny displayed the jewellery at the exhibition.
