Lagadapati warns Telangana protagonists

Nandigama: Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal warned of action if the Telangana protagonists create inconvenience to the public in the name of 'Sadak Bandh'. He was in Nandigama to inaugurate a super bazaar on Sunday. Speaking to the media, he lambasted the YSRCP and TRS for moving no confidence motion against the government. The people gave mandate to the Congress party to rule for five years. Hence, he advised the other parties to take a cue from TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in this regard. "I would a lodge a complaint with the party high command against Pedana MLA Jogi Ramesh to disqualify him for voting against the government during the no-trust move by violating the party veto." He exuded confidence over winning elections in the ensuing Panchayat polls as they party had already proved its supremacy in the PACS and DCCBs polls. Similarly, the Congress would welcome anybody into its fold if they approach the party accepting its policies. He further stated that he would strive to provide Rs 3,300 per tonne of Subabul, Similarly, he promised to speak to the government on reduction of surcharge on power.
