Kurnool : District Collector C Sudarsan Reddy instructed the officials of Revenue, Police and R&B departments to immediately vacate the retired employees staying illegally in the government ABC camp quarters even after issuing notices to vacate them.

Participating in the Dial Your Collector programme at the Collectorate here on Monday, the collector inquired about the pending problems received during the earlier programme. He told the officials to make sure that the petitioners would not repeatedly make calls to this programme and solve them immediately.A Additional Joint Collector Rama Swamy, District Revenue Officer Venugopal Reddy, Zilla Parishat CEO Suryaprakash participated in the programme.

Ibrahim Khan appealed to the collector that Sirivella mandal tahsildar had not issued passbook to the 70 cents land situated in Survey No 227/A1 though applied two years back. A Lakshmidevi of Karivena in Atmakuru mandal appealed to the collector to release insurance money and help under 'Apadbandhu' scheme as her insane husband died falling in a well. She said that she had insurance as the Self-Help Group member under Indiramma Bima Yojana.

A person from Pasupula village in Banaganapalli mandal complained that the ration shop dealer is distributing only five items instead of nine varieties of essential commodities to the people. A A person from Tyagaraju Vemula village in Dornipadu mandal complained that some people were indulging in gambling and drinking alcohol in the middle of houses of the SC Colony. Some persons from Kovelakuntla complained that the three cinema threatres in the mandal headquarters are collecting Rs. 100 instead of Rs. 70.

Some thirty landless farmers of Nandavaram village appealed to the collector to provide them with agriculture loans as they have been cultivating 130 acres of land in the outskirts of the village.
