Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti chief Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy lambasted the Rayalaseema leaders for keeping silent over the latest developments over the bifurcation of the State. "These leaders are remaining mute spectators to the extinction of Rayalasema," he lamented.
Talking to newsmen at his house in Kalluru, Byreddy said that Congress leaders organized Telangana Sadhana Sabha at Hyderabad to claim the formation of Telangana. He said that every Congressman came to conclusion that Sonia Gandhi had decided to carve the separate state for Telangana.
It is high time Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress leader Jaganmohan Reddy woke up from slumber. "They should strive for the formation of separate Rayalaseema," he added. Byreddy said that the people of Rayalaseema would not accept the bifurcation of Rayalaseema with two districts in Telangana and two in Coastal Andhra.
He said that the people of Rayalaseema have been living in harmony and the proposal of Rayala Telangana by MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi was meant to provoke communal conflicts. He said that he was going undertake 52-hour fast at Hyderabad on July 4 aimed at bringing awareness among Rayalaseema leaders.
