Telangana Assembly Speaker slammed on Twitter over ‘VIP Milk Bath’
Telangana Assembly Speaker Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary was given a VIP Milk Bath on Saturday from his supporters after he announced a village council in Bhupalpally, his home constituency.
Telangana Assembly Speaker Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary was given a VIP Milk Bath on Saturday from his supporters after he announced a village council in Bhupalpally, his home constituency.
The ‘milk bath’ was a way of the supporters rewarding him for the announcement.
The moment was caught on video where Madhusudhana Chary was seen with his head bowed while supporters poured bowls full of milk on him for a few moments before he raised his hands to stop.
The video, however, earned disapproval on social media with many frowning upon the idea of wasting milk.
Take a look at what they had to say on Twitter:
Damn.... is it this hard to see the wastage.... Ironic making a fool out of themselves on April Fool's day...

They could as well have given milk to those who are hungry in his name. At least those people will pray and may be he would have got more votes. Annadanam mahadanam. Means donating food is the best donation that can be done.

sad state of affairs by these sycophants. its 21st century & if the liquid in the video is indeed milk, only god can save this country...
— Vivek (@m3vicks) April 1, 2018
😂 I didn't know that people from my state can come with this. Pouring milk on hero posters on big cinema release is norm here, but this is altogether in different league.
— Suresh (@Sureshbssuresh) April 1, 2018
Why waste milk on him ? This milk can be used to feed poor children.
— Asʜɪʀʙᴀᴅ Tʜᴀᴘᴀ 🇮🇳 (@athappa) April 1, 2018

— Jithendra (@hydbadshah) April 1, 2018
What a wastage of milk! You do realize Telangana has a lot of people who actually don't have money to afford it.
