To protect their crops, the farmers are implementing innovative ideas. The district has already touched 42 degrees temperature and the weather officials suggest that the temperature could go higher.

In Arakatu Vemula Putluru village, farmer Chalapathi Naidu has placed used newspapers on the saplings to prevent them from wilting and weathering. The system is being followed by the other farmers of the region. The agriculture officials advised the farmers to adopt such innovative methods to beat the heat.
