Telangana Jana Samiti president Professor Kodandaram has announced that their party will not contest with anybody in the forthcoming elections and their party candidates will be in all the seats. He expressed his confidence that the party will win with a majority of seats and come to power.

Speaking at the party office in Hyderabad on Wednesday, he said, "There are no possibilities for the party to face any issues in the coming elections in Telangana. He said the party would have a perfect majority.”

Referring to the Karnataka Assembly elections results, Kodandaram said, “The national parties could not satisfy the wishes of the people of Karnataka and hence the conclusion that such results were there. Petrol prices are rising due to the rise in prices. The petrol prices were demanded to be brought under the GST.”

He further said, “We are ready to compete in the local bodies' elections and that many had applied for the competition. It is debatable to express confidence in the lack of alliances and the willingness to come to power in Telangana.”
