Drunk driving: 11500 cases registered in Hyderabad This Year
Additional Commissioner, Traffic, Anil Kumar speaking in this regard, said that out of the cases registered, 2100 cases have been sent to jail by the honourable court while the remaining persons were been fined.
In a shocking statistical data, Hyderabad city has registered at least 11500 cases of drunk driving until May 31 this year.

Mr Kumar added that the public, however, is still continuing to repeat the mistake despite the police clearly giving instructions and launching campaigns against drinking and driving.
He further said that they will conduct programmes and launch several drives to create awareness among people about drunk driving adding that the number of accidents on road has declined after the launch of their special drive.
