Polytechnic student commits suicide by jumping off building in Musheerabad
A polytechnic second-year student committed suicide on Wednesday by jumping off from a three-story building at Musheerabad in Hyderabad.
A polytechnic second-year student committed suicide on Wednesday by jumping off from a three-story building at Musheerabad in Hyderabad.
The victim was identified as Sana who hailed from Rompikunta village of Kamanpur mandal in Peddapalli district.
As per the details, the girl was residing in a hostel and her parents had come to take her back home. However, an argument ensued between them as she denied returning home. Following this, Sana ran to the third-floor of the hostel building and jumped off from there right in front of her parents.
Even though she was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital, Sana succumbed to her injuries while undergoing the treatment.
Reports suggest there were family disputes which led to her take the extreme step.
A case has been registered and the police are investigating.
