Several districts in Telangana are likely to record heavy rains during the next three days. As per the Indian Meteorological Department bulletin on Monday, the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Manchiryal, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Khamareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Rajanna Sircilla, Janagam, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhongir and Nalgonda will witness heavy rains.
Also, isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh are expected to witness heavy rains for the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thundershowers is set to hit several places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next five days.
As of now, the Southwest monsoon has been active over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, normal in Telangana and weak over Rayalaseema.
