Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh Lodh on Sunday announced that he tendered his resignation to the party in a video message posted on a social networking site.
Alleging that BJP was not providing any support for ‘gau Raksha’ (cow protection), Raja Singh said that he has sent his resignation letter to Telangana BJP president K Laxman.
Stating that the Hindu dharma and cow protection are priorities for him which is followed by politics, the party MLA shared that he has resigned from BJP for ‘gau Raksha’.
He even stated of bringing up the issue in the Assembly many times but was not provided any support from the party.
Raja Singh also said that he and his team will hit the streets and stop the slaughter of cows in the state further adding that he didn’t want to land BJP in any trouble, hence resigned from it.
