Hyderabad: The First Additional Metropolitan Session court on Wednesday convicted a 25-year-old man for sexually assaulting his 17-year-old sister.
The judge Kunchala Suneetha who is also in charge for the special court for protection of children from sexual offences sentenced the man to five years of Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) along with a fine of Rs 1000.
The accused Mohammad Shabbir, a resident of Old City was arrested last year on the charges of rape.
The Shahinayagunj police registered a case against him under POCSO act.
