Guntur: The state government constituted a expert committee led former chief secretary S.P.Tucker as a chairman to review demand of revival of Old Pension Scheme in lieu of Contributory Pension Scheme.

Secretary to Government Finance Department Peeyush Kumar is member secretary, D.Venkata Ramana, secretary to government ,Law Department, K.Muniratanm Naidu , retired Professor of Economics, , S.P.Mahila University,Tirupati, Prof .Galab Professor in Economics , Director CESS, Hyderabad are members of the committee. Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha issued a G.O. R.T.No: 2052 to this effect, on November 28 to this effect. The committee will be force for three months from today.

The committee may suggest proportions regarding liabilities and risks that may arise out of agreements entered with NPS Trust and NSDL.The committee also suggests to steps to be taken if CPS is withdrawn and Old Pension Scheme is revived.
