Irrigation Minister Harish Rao questioned Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu as to why he has not delivered the promises made to the people.
Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Rao said that Chandrababu has waived Rs 18,000 crore of farmer loan leaving the promise of waiving Dwcra loans and remaining farmers. He also explained that the cost of Kaleshwaram was enhanced due to the increase of ayacut to 37 lakh acres. "Had not the Congress increased the project from Rs 17,000 crore to Rs 38,500 crore?" he questioned.
Rao also asked Naidu as why he has written against the construction of Kaleshwaram.
