NMU serves strike notice to APSRTC
APSRTC National Mazdoor Union NMU has served a strike notice to the RTC management Along with recognized union of the corporation Employees Union EU, 9 other unions have decided to go on a strike from 6th February
Vijayawada: APSRTC National Mazdoor Union (NMU) has served a strike notice to the RTC management. Along with recognized union of the corporation Employees Union (EU), 9 other unions have decided to go on a strike from 6th February.
Though the Employees JAC has planned for a strike before Sankranti festival, but with the assurance of the management that they will take the issue to the notice of Chief Minister, the unions have postponed the strike.
On seeing no progress after the discussions with CM, the unions decided to go on an indefinite strike from 6 February.
The union leaders have submitted a memorandum to the higher authorities with 13 demands, In the main demands which include, merge of APSRTC into government, implement the pay revision salaries, clearing the pending arrears the RTC unions are going for a strike
