Television actress Jhansi committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan in her house at Sairam residency in Nagarjuna Nagar at Punjagutta on Tuesday
Television actress Jhansi committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling fan in her house at Sairam residency in Nagarjuna Nagar at Punjagutta on Tuesday. She became popular with the Pavitrabandham serial being telecast in Maa TV.
According to Punjagutta SI Mohan Kumar, Naga Jhansi, a native of Odili village of Mudinepalli mandal in Krishna district is also running a beauty parlour. She is said to be in a relationship with a family friend Surya. On Tuesday night, Jhansi's brother Durga Prasad went to her home and broke the door as Jhansi did not respond.
Prasad informed the police after he saw Jhansi hanging in her room. The police registered a case and sent her body for post-mortem. They suspected that the actress might have committed suicide due to depression and are probing into the case based on her Whatsapp chat with Surya.
