Mahabubnagar: Will Nagam Janardhana Reddy join Bharatiya Janata Party? People of Palamuru would say 'YES'. They would also say that he would contest to the Lok Sabha from Mahabubnagar during the next general elections. The reason is obvious. Whenever there is a programme organized by the BJP, Nagam is present raising his voice in unison with the BJP leaders against the government. More, the recent Telangana Yatra launched by Nagam was welcomed by the BJP leaders. In fact, Nagam Janardhana Reddy is at the political cross roads. The erstwhile TDP leader left the party on Telangana plank; resigned to the MLA post and got re-elected as MLA with the support of Telangana protagonists. Though he launched Telangana Nagaara Samiti (TNS), there is no other leader worth mentioning in that party. He may join neither TDP nor the Congress. Though he has been sailing with Telangana Rashtra Samiti, the party is not fully supporting Nagam. The other members of TNS Hariswar Reddy and Jogu Ramanna have joined theTRS but Nagam was not willing to join that party. Though it was rumoured he was inclined to join YSR Congress, he did not evince interest since that party was not in favour of Telangana. Nagam Janardhana Reddy has not announced so far that he would join any political party. However, it could be inferred that he was willing to closely work with BJP. Political analysts say that he would have to certainly some political party by the time of general elections. If he joins the BJP, most likely he would contest for Lok Sabha from Mahabubnagar. However, Nagam has been maintaining silence over his political future for the time being.
