Hyderabad: According to the local police, at Suramplayy village in Medak district on Sunday, a minor girl aged 15 yrs was allegedly raped by a youth.
This incident took place, when the girl was on her way to the farm. The accused, Oggu Illaiah allegedly yanked the girl to nearby bushes and raped her. Based on the complaint lodged by the victim’s parents, the victim was sent to a government hospital for medical tests, the official said. A case of rape has been registered against Illaiah and search for him is on, police said.
