Bayyaram steel agitation will be intensified, says Prof Kodandaram

Nalgonda : Political joint action committee chairman Prof Kodandaram said here on Wednesday that the agitation for Bayyaram steel would be intensified.

He was addressing the round table meeting of all-party. A Prof Kodandaram said that the struggle was aimed at establishing a steel plant at Bayyaram with the iron ore available there to provide employment to the local youth. "This would help the development of the country," he added.

He said that everyone was welcome to join the agitation whoever comes forward for achieving the Telangana state. He said that the political joint action committee would meet in a couple of days to decide the future course of action for achieving Telangana and to discuss programmes like 'lay siege to Assembly' and sadak bandh of Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway.
