Bihar: Lantern Breaks. Lalu Prasad Yadav faced a strong blow with the resignation of 7 MLAs of his RJD Party. In the beginning news made rounds that as many as 13 MLAs jumped from the party. However, 6 MLAs gave the confirmation that they were still in the party and not left the party.

Of the 22 MLAs the party has, 7 MLAs have left the party. It is learnt that MLAs have been dissent over the behavior of Lalu Prasad Yadav and also for getting caged himself in the fodder scam.
Those who came out from the party have written to the speaker of Bihar state assembly that they should be considered as a separate group. It is most likely that these rebel MLAs will join JDU.
It is learnt that already talks went on between the rebel MLAs and Nitish Kumar. It is also learnt that few MLAs sought MP ticket to contest in looming Lok Sabha elections.
